Default Getting Protoype Cases Ready

Okay this afternoon the Cases turned up for the test cables, was hoping it was the PCB's but never mind, there is always tomorrow.

As you can see the circuit fits in the case with the USB socket just inside of cable shroud hole.

The problem is that the hole in the cases will not let the USB Lead slide in and connect

So time to pop out to my little workshop and fire up my Desktop CNC machine.

I designed and used to sell these machine a few years ago and still have one that I use for other projects. If interested check out my other site http://www.cncdudez.com . I do not sell them anymore but left the site up for information purposes.

Okay so first thing was to Mill out a template to hold each half of the adapter.

Perfect fit with the casing nice and snug.
So drew up another template to cut out the bottom area of each half of the casings.

Finished the first Test cut and came out well, picture shows before and after.
This Blue plastic is a Pig to cut and you need to get the Feed Speeds spot on so it did not melt or tear. But wanted clear blue so the LED's could be seen

Did not take long once the machine was up and running, so all 7 cases are done and ready for the testing guys.

Now as stated at the begining of the post, I just need the Protoype PCB's to arrive
